About the Bayou Go Club

We are a new club in the New Orleans area. We had our first meeting in early October with 7 members. WE are now about 16 players strong and growing everyday. We have a wide range of players from very advance (5 Dan) to very new (30 Kyu). We are all drawn together because of a common interest and love for the Game of Go. We meet weekly for play, socialization and to learn. Our goal is to inform, promote, and teach the Game of Go to the community.
We invite all who are interested in learning how to play the Game of Go to our meetings. We offer lessons each week to those who are interested. . All you need to do to learn and play Go is show up at the meetings. We look forward seeing you there.

How to do you become a member of the bayou Go Club?

Currently, all that we require is you attend at least one meeting and become a member of the AGA (The American Go Association).
