The First New Orleans AGA sponsored Go Tournament hosted by the
Bayou Go Club and the Genghis Khan restaurant is a bounding success!
The open section had seven participants. Jeff Shaevel
and Mike Peng came in from Texas to give our locals a run for their
money. In addition, we were lucky to have Ms. Xuefen Lin, 1 Dan
professional from Houston, Tx, join in the open. She managed to win
the tournament but only by a small margin(4/5). Mike Peng came in a
close second (4/5)and our own, Dr. Kazuo Sato, came in third(3/5).
(Dr. Sato took second place in the spring Houston open.) In addition
to the above, Masastugu Takano(4d), Sam Kuk(3d), Youn Han(4d) and

Henry Lee, tournament participant and owner of Genghis
